Though I still keep on comparing my Infosys life with this new life of that of a graudate student, but one thing is certain, that i took a right decision of quitting Infosys. I get so much of satisfaction after a long day of work. There was no such satisfaction at Infosys. I used to whine more for sitting in front of the computer for all day long. Here, the work is not sedentary in nature, plus I get my highs too whenever I get experimental results. There at Infy, I used to just code and see my website building step by step. Even that work was sometimes exciting, but on the whole the entire project would never seem exciting or motivating to me. Here, apart from the short-term goals, the long-term objectives are equally motivating and challenging. I know I would be creating or discovering or inventing something new, which will have the potential of changing people's lives. Infy work did not do much, except for adding more load to the world wide web, or increasing the volume of data in MSSQL or Oracle databases.

Am glad that I learned programming (which I always wanted to), website development (which is now so easy for me), and other computer softwares' operation which will help me a lot in my scientific career. Side by side, I am gonna pursue all my other interests which I have always wanted to. :)

Yup.. I thought so...

Whenever I ask God for something, I hear Him saying, "Take it!! I m not stopping u from having it and in fact, nobody CAN stop you from having it, if you really want it that badly. Go ahead and take it, rather than waiting for me to come and hand it over to you. I will never do that, though I will keep that safely harbored in a place. If that place is out of your reach, you will have to make yourself capable enough to reach it.
If you find your path to your goal fraught with too many difficulties, then simply understand that those difficulties are meant to make you stronger. Take the call and walk your way to what you want. I shall take care that you just get enough challenges in your way that make you worthy of your presents. Dont get discouraged by those challenges, because thats how you are going to get closer to your destination. "

Fighting for what i want...

Its really really true... its so dificult to get what you want. And unless you get vocal about it, nobody is gonna help you get what you need. Its your life so you only got to fight for yourself. Someitmes, you are blessed enough to have some good friends standing by your side, pushing you and encouraging you to go for your dreams. But, many a times you will find yourself standing alone in face of all the difficulties and that is when you realise that its only your courage and your patience which will see you through.

I am too in that phase .. Though I have my parents and my friends helping me in whatever way they can, but the onus is on me. I gotta give my best and persist... I will definitely overcome all these difficulties. No problem is bigger than me.
